The Steamer Lakeside

The steamship Lakeside was one of several boats
which provided passenger service between Port Stanley and Cleveland in
the early years of the last century. This postcard is postmarked
February 15, 1912. The number of passengers on the deck suggests that
the boat was crowded. The entrance to the Port Stanley harbour is hidden
behind the boat.
