Stanley Beach Casino 4

There are many different postcards showing the Stanley Beach Casino on Port Stanley’s main beach. It was primarily a dance hall, not a gambling casino in the current sense of the word. It appears to have been frequently remodeled and enlarged. At one point it was said to have had the largest dance floor in Canada. There is no date on this postcard but judging by the dress of the patrons we are probably looking at a view from the very early years of the twentieth century.
Note the Orion Hotel in the background to the east of the Stanley Beach Casino.
