Other views of Port Stanley’s roller coaster on this website show
the roller coaster painted red instead of the green shown on this card.
Some of our long time Port Stanley residents remember the roller coaster
as being painted green. Many of the postcards from this era were made
from hand coloured black and white images. The red colour (see Roller
Coaster (3)on this website) could have been a mistake in the
colouring process or it might indicate that the roller itself could have been repainted.
