Although the postmark on this postcard showing Port Stanley’s main beach is
indistinct, its one cent postage stamp showing King
Edward VII was in use in Canada from 1903 to 1911. Wooden wharves like
the one shown here and extending out into Lake Erie were probably
rebuilt every Spring.
