Bridge Street 2

A very interesting black and white postcard which bears a message dated 1920. It shows us what Bridge Street looked like a little over 100 years ago, with a drug store on the northwest corner of Bridge and Colborne streets where the Port Stanley medical clinic is today. Farther west on the north side of Bridge Street is a two-story brick building which has a sign on its wall for Findlay and Nicholas general store. The top floor of this building was in use as the Masonic Hall in the later years of the century. On the south side of the street is a sign for “F.R. Dale, groceries and meat”.
