The Steamer State of Ohio

The passenger ferry the State of Ohio ran between Cleveland and Port Stanley in the 1920s. She was apparently originally built in 1866 as a sidewheel steamer. Agnes Hepburn in her “Historical Sketch of the Village of Port Stanley” notes that in 1916 the ship had her own dock on the east side of the harbour near the bridge. Later in her long career the ship was known as the City of Cleveland.
The small lighthouse behind the vessel in this photograph is not shown in any of the photographic images which we have of the Port Stanley harbour. Perhaps the photograph was taken in Cleveland?
