Hillcrest Inn (4)

This postcard showing this view of the Hillcrest Inn bears a postmark of 1952. In his book “Port Stanley: Musings and Memories” Frank Prothero writes that Mr. and Mrs Shipp retired in 1962, selling the in to Hook’s restaurant of London. Two years later in October of 1964 the building was destroyed by fire.
