Telegraph House

We do not have a date for this postcard, but
judging by the dress worn by the lady on the lawn it can be assumed that
this photograph was taken in the early years of the last century. The
building is still there and little changed from this view. It was used for
a time as a telegraph office and is now operated as a bed and breakfast
known as the Telegraph House. It is situated on the east side of Main
Street (205 Main Street) just south of Port Stanley’s main intersection.
