Boat Building

There is no date on this postcard but in the early 1900s there were
several small ship building operations in Port Stanley. The framework of
the boat being built in this photograph looks quite impressive. Fish net
drying racks such as those shown on the right of this photograph were
a common sight beside the harbour in the early years of the last century.
