Meet the heart behind the heritage.

Our Story: How The Team Came Together

The Port Stanley Heritage Organization began with a shared love for our town’s roots and a clear vision for its future.

It started with a small group of locals. Some were lifelong residents, and others were new to the community. They came together around a simple idea: Port Stanley’s history should be preserved and passed on to the next generation.

What began as casual conversations quickly turned into meaningful action. The group started gathering stories, speaking with elders, collecting photos, and exploring the rich history found in every part of our lakeside village.

Driven by purpose, we formed a team of passionate individuals. Our members include historians, educators, artists, business owners, and volunteers. Each person brings their own unique skills and perspective. Together, we created the Port Stanley Heritage Organization to protect, celebrate, and share the legacy of this special place.

Our mission is to honor the past, engage the present, and inspire the future of Port Stanley.
