Main Beach (2)

There are many postcards showing different views of the main
beach. This one bears a postmark of 1929. It is interesting to note the
line of small trees beside what was to become Port Stanley’s famed
boardwalk. The date of other postcards can be judged by the height of
these trees. The large building in the background was the
Port Stanley dance casino which was destroyed by fire three years after
this postcard was posted.
