Invererie Heights, Lovers Lane

This view of Invererie Heights is entitled, on the postcard which displays it, “Lover’s Lane, Fraser Heights, Port Stanley, Canada”. This surrounding area was originally called Fraser Heights because of the Fraser House Hotel which was situated on the east end of the bluff. A path (“Lover’s Lane”), shown on the left of this card extended from the Fraser House hotel to the end of the bluff and a deep ravine. The ravine was known as “Lover’s Leap”.
