Kettle Creek Inn

Kettle Creek Inn is a historic and inviting inn with a restaurant, located at 216 Joseph Street in Port Stanley, Ontario, just a short walk from the harbor. The property blends vintage charm with modern comfort. It includes the original stone home built in 1849, two guest house wings added over time, a central courtyard, garden gazebo, and a charming patio that is ideal for relaxation and dining.

The original stone house was constructed in 1849 for a local justice of the peace. It was later converted into an inn in 1918 to accommodate travelers and seasonal visitors. In 1983, the Vedova family purchased the property and fully renovated it, updating the facilities while preserving the historic character of the original home and surrounding buildings.

Today, Kettle Creek Inn offers ten well-appointed guest rooms and five spacious suites. Each room features unique decor, quality furnishings, and modern amenities. Some suites include gas fireplaces, private balconies, whirlpool tubs, and views of the courtyard or village. Overnight guests enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast, and the on-site restaurant offers a warm and elegant setting for lunch and dinner.

The restaurant typically operates from Wednesday to Sunday, opening around noon and closing in the early evening. Seasonal hours may vary, and reservations are recommended for peak times. Guests can enjoy dining in the cozy indoor parlour, the casual pub area, or the outdoor garden gazebo during warmer months.

Smoking is not permitted inside the inn, guest rooms, or dining areas. Guests who wish to smoke are asked to use outdoor areas away from entrances, in accordance with provincial regulations. Kettle Creek Inn remains a beloved destination for those seeking comfort, history, and a peaceful getaway in the heart of Port Stanley.
