There is no stamp or postmark to let us date this photograph, but the fact that the railway was not yet electrified (note the lack of overhead wire) indicate a date prior to 1915. Many postcards from this era were black and white photographs which were hand coloured.  In this case, the only two colours used appear to be red and green.
