It is interesting to try and date this postcard which was “Made in Germany”.

The distinctive Stanley Beach Casino, with its twin turrets, built in 1909, can be recognized in the background, and the photograph shows an early version of Port Stanley’s famous Boardwalk.  Port Stanley’s main pier, built in 1906, is also evident.
