Port Stanley Harbor

Port Stanley Harbor There is no postmark or stamp on this postcard, so we can only guess at the date.

Note the wooden grain elevator on the west bank of Kettle Creek.   It was built by the Lake Erie and Detroit River Railroad during the period when they leased the train tracks from the L & PS (1893-1931), and was used by the Erie Flour Mills of St. Thomas as well as London millers.  It later burned down and was replaced by concrete elevators.
